Abby's first hatch



 

6 ducklings. All girls amazingly. Three have already gone to new homes. Mom is being fiercely protective of the other three.

    Ducklings are so cute! We just got our first ducks this year and we are loving them! We have 6 Pekin and 6 Rouen ducks on my parents farm!

    Mom still doesn't trust me, but she did eat peas from my hand today. The babies are beginning to recognize me as a treat source. The corruption has begun :D
